Photo 15 Sep 3 notes Aside from putting some varnish on it and giving it a name, I am done with this 24”x48” painting. #artbytroythomas (at Tampa Bay)

Photo 11 Sep 8 notes Painting with a nail! I have two more groups of rings to add paint to using this method. After that, I’ll take a picture of the finished painting. (at Tampa Bay)

Photo 10 Sep 3 notes I found my carving tools and carved out the design late last night and did a couple of test prints. I am fairly happy with the results, though I am going to make some small changes. I was surprised that this design took about 3 or 4 hours to carve out, and the block is only 5”x7”. (at Tampa Bay)

Photo 5 Sep 4 notes I haven’t done any block printing since my high school, or even junior high school, days. But I have just drawn this design on a linoleum block and am curious to see how it will turn out. Now I just need to find my cutting and carving tools. (at Tampa Bay)

Photo 31 Aug 9 notes It has been over a year since I last worked on canvas, but I just started again and it feels good! This is a detailed, abstract view of the sketch on the canvas. (at Tampa Bay)
